Historical building materials with soul
sustainable for construction, renovation & designWelcome to ResAnDes, your nationwide partner for reclaimed and historically sourced building materials from deconstruction, restoration, and sustainable reuse. We preserve history and give it new purpose: with old bricks, granite slabs, reclaimed timber boards, and brick slips that radiate character and authenticity.
Our materials come from carefully selected demolition and restoration projects across Europe. Each batch is inspected, processed, and prepared by us before being offered for reuse throughout Germany. This creates unique resources for the restoration of listed buildings, the design of distinctive living spaces, or high-quality outdoor areas.
Whether you are looking for Charlottenburg granite paving slabs for your garden, traditional-format bricks for your façade, or weathered reclaimed wood for your interior design – ResAnDes stands for quality, expertise, and sustainable building with soul.
We also purchase historical building materials within roughly 200 kilometres of Rennersdorf (Saxony). Get in touch, we’ll be happy to advise you personally.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about reclaimed and historical building materials
Historical building materials come from the deconstruction or restoration of older buildings. Through reuse, they are given a second life. These include materials such as granite slabs, sandstone, cobblestones, reclaimed timber, as well as old windows and doors. Historical materials combine sustainability, craftsmanship and authenticity, making them ideal for projects where character and quality truly matter.
- Sustainability: Reusing materials saves resources and reduces CO₂ emissions.
- Aesthetics: Every piece is unique, carrying its own history and distinctive surface.
- Quality: Thanks to our careful selection, all materials offered by us meet high quality standards and are suitable for restoration, heritage conservation and high-end new construction.

The cubic metre (m³) is the unit used to measure the volume of a three-dimensional object – for example, a pallet of granite slabs, a bundle of paving stones or a stack of timber.
The calculation is simple:
Length × Width × Height = Volume in cubic metres (m³)
Examples:
Example for granite slabs (5–7 cm thick, not suitable for vehicles):
One pallet contains approx. 10 m² of granite slabs with an average thickness of 6 cm (0.06 m).
Calculation:
10 m² × 0.06 m = 0.6 m³
Meaning:
A pallet of these granite slabs has a volume of around 0.6 m³ and weighs approximately 1.3–1.5 tonnes, depending on the type of stone.
Example for thicker granite slabs (8–10 cm, suitable for vehicles):
At 10 m² of surface area and an average thickness of 9 cm (0.09 m), the calculation is:
10 m² × 0.09 m = 0.9 m³
This corresponds to a volume of approximately 0.9 m³ per pallet, with a weight of roughly 1.9–2.1 tonnes.
