How it all began...
In 1995, Matthias bought an old factory building with a residential building and began to renovate and restore it. This gave rise to a passion for historical building materials. In addition to his job in the medical technology industry, he started restoring old furniture - with increasing success.
In 2005 the medical technology company went bankrupt and now it was a question of what now? Matthias turned his passion into a career and ResAnDes was born in 2006. Now it was time to set up ResAnDes. Of course it started with furniture restoration and little by little the first requests for special furniture and interior design using old building materials came. This is how the first small demolitions began, with more and more building materials left over, so that Matthias began to specialize in dismantling, processing and sales.
Since this was taking up more and more time, in 2010 he looked for support for the office and for preparation. Since then, Virginie has been part of the team and has been ensuring smooth purchasing/sales as well as preparation and shipping. Thanks to her apprenticeship as a ceramicist and her craftsmanship, she is now the perfect contact when it comes to restoration.
In 2018 she completed further training in web design and has since then ensured that our website is always up to date. For more than 15 years now, we have increasingly specialized in the recovery, processing and sale of historical building materials. The focus here is particularly on old bricks as well as waste wood and granite slabs, which we can also offer in large quantities through various smaller demolitions as well as large industrial demolitions.
